So the reason and aproach for defining e.aspects is the closer you get to the source of the impact, the easier it is to change.

My best loved example is a natural gas-fired powerstation emitting 'fox tail' of NOx. One may call gas burning an aspect that causes NOx emission, one may argue that it is the lack/failure of gas cleaning equip.
